The Museum of California Design just presented  its 2015 Henry Award for Outstanding Contributions to American Design by a Californian to the illustrious architect and designer Frank Gehry. Snyder Diamond and Jenn-Air presented a South of France inspired designer luncheon on the veranda of the Westedge Design Fair. Jeff Chojnacki of Snyder Diamond designed a sumptuous French countryside setting for 30 designers, architects and builders, catered by the noted Bread and Water Catering Co. Entrees included broiled salmon, country potatoes, a variety of fine wines, a lavish charcuterie platter and fresh berry desserts.

The holiday edition of the Contemporary Crafts Market  — celebrating its 30th anniversary this year — is setting up shop in Pasadena on Nov. 13-15. Around 250 American artisans are expected to participate in the juried show, exhibiting and selling their hand-crafted furnishings, textiles, ceramics, paintings, glass, jewelry and more.
