The Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles, designed by legendary architect, Frank Gehry, provided a striking, symphonic backdrop for the recent women’s march.  The various architectural shapes seemed to emulate the people, the motion, and all the animated conversations. Our close up of Disney hall with welcome reflected sunlight. Always an inspiration.

Architect Michael Rachlin of Rachlin Partners and Wendy Williams of Snaidero USA celebrated together at the 2017 Celebrate Gala at the A + D Museum.  The museum never looked more artful, with its hand -stenciled murals throughout the room and architectural sculptures on view by notables such as architect Doris Kim Sung.  Many of Southern California’s leading architects were in attendance, including Board members from SCI-Arc and the A + D Museum…. Art collector Chara Schreyer and Designer Gary Hutton talked about their spectacular new book, Art House, at the Los Angeles Art Fair.  The book is a compilation of Schreyer’s highly respected contemporary art collection at her various homes in California, curated and designed by Gary Hutton.  Her latest home, a contemporary masterpiece by architect Joe McRitchie, was built by All Coast Construction, and features hundreds of fine pieces from her collection.  No… Read More
