We rode up 32 floors at 700 Wilshire Blvd to see a recent performance of the American Contemporary Ballet.   The stage is located on a raw, unbuilt floor at the top of this skyscraper with stunning panoramic views of downtown LA.  ACB features historical and contemporary ballet with a narrative story telling component.  Thanks to patron Wayne Ratkovich, ACB has a provocative stage for performing in the sky!

I toured some of the exciting conceptual  art installations on view during Desert X in Palm Springs, including “Circle of Land and Sky.”   This installation features a concentric circle of reflective fence-like rods by artist Phillip K Smith III.   Every aspect of the desert landscape, the sky and clouds is mirrored in the installation.
