The weather was sensational—a tropical 85 degrees every day through midnight—and lasting all through the night for those who never left the parties! The art at the Convention Center was stellar, as were select pieces from PULSE Contemporary Art Fair further down the road. She also attended Design Miami, on site near the Convention Center, and… Read More

Russ Diamond was a Monument Sponsor this year at the Los Angeles Conservancy 2014 Preservation Awards at the Millennium Biltmore. We invited several of our design and architecture colleagues to join us to celebrate. It was a terrific afternoon, and as the Ace Hotel was one of the winners, we all opted to go take a tour of the downtown L.A. hotel in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for pictures of that coming soon!

On Monday, June 23, we were in attendance when Snyder Diamond president Russ Diamond and architect Steven Ehrlich presented “Modern Makeovers for Optimum Resale: with kitchens that turn up the heat and baths that make a splash.” The presentation, hosted by Aaroe Architectural, was impressive to say the least.

The 2014 A+D Museum Gala, “Celebrate,” featured a fabulous fashion show of designer beach-clad models with architecturally-inspired surf attire, surfboards and skateboards. All items were available for auction, including spectacular paintings, photographs and coveted arch tours, such as an afternoon tour with Pritzker Prize-winning Thom Mayne and his latest architectural project, Emerson College on Sunset Blvd.

Over one hundred guests attended “Modern Design on the Coast” which kicked off this year’s Dwell on Design LA, the largest design event in America.
